While they come from 2 different sides of cities and different gangs they are still people and go through some of the same things as human beings and aren’t as different as they assume. It’s a moment of maturity as he realizes this

Although they come from different groups they have things in common like living up to the expectations of their groups (I did all of that 2 years ago so if it’s wrong sorry)
