What’s the meaning of ‘Tú’ and ‘Usted’ and how are they used ?

Tú and usted are basically the same thing but “tú” is less formal than “usted”. Usted is mostly used when you don’t know someone or taking to elderly people. And tú is used when your talking to someone of the same age, the same rank, etc.
