Why these animals have so much blubber

Answer:

Animals that have blubber live in cold habitats, for example, Antarctica. The blubber, or fat, protects them from the snowy and icy environment. Walrus' are a great example. Without blubber, their insides would get too cold, and they could freeze to death.
