Hello!

Tu and usted have the same meaning.

But, when you talk to someone YOUR age or they are younger than u say "tu"

Example

Bien y tu

But with an elder, someone older then u say "usted"

For example:

Bien y usted?

Tú and usted both mean you but tú is usually more informal then usted
