11x because you subtract 2x from each side, then your left with 4x=44, the 44 divided by 4 is 11

Answer:

\boxed{ \bold{ \huge{ \boxed{ \sf{x = 11}}}}}

Explanation:

\sf{6x = 2x + 44}

Move 2x to left hand side and change it's sign

\sf{6x - 2x = 44}

Collect like terms

\sf{4x = 44}

Divide both sides of the equation by 4

\sf{ (4x)/(4) = (44)/(4) }

Calculate

\sf{x = 11}

Hope I helped!

Best regards!!
