What themes are in Macbeth act 3 scene 1?

The closely related theme to that scene is guilt.

Macbeth wanted to kill Banquo because he want to resent his honor. This would make Banquo a threat to him. Macbeth’s guilt from murdering Duncan pushes him to commit another.
