What is the function of cellulose in plants

cellulose in plants provides structural support.
If you ever get the chance to view cells you’ll be able to notice that plants cells have a square shape where as animal cells have a round shape. Cellulose allows for the cells to square!!

Cellulose helps make a plant strong and stiff, so it doesn't bend and break. It is in a plants cell walls.
