p(t) = 3t - t^2
Set to 0
-t^2 + 3t = 0
t(-t+3) =0
t = 0
-t + 3 = 0
-t = -3
t = 3
Therefore t = 3/0
q(t) = 3 + 2t^2
Set to 0
2t^2 + 3 = 0
2t^2 = -3
t^2 = -3/2
t = - or + root 6/2 i (stands for root -1)
