If you have a magnified image that’s 2mm wide and your specimen is 0.02 mm wide, what is the magnification?

Answer:

Magnification = Actual length of image / Actual length of object

Actual length of object = 0.02mm

Actual length of image = 2mm

Magnification = 2mm / 0.02mm

= 100

Hope this helps
