Answer:

To find t the hypotenuse we use sine

sin 53° = 14/t

t = 14/sin 53°

t = 17.53

Since we have both hypotenuse and the opposite we use Pythagoras theorem to find s

(17.53)² = 14² + s²

s = √17.53² - 14²

s = 10.55

t = 17.53 s = 10.55
