looking at the graph, you can see that the equation is a negative, so the slope will be negative. On the Y-axis, the line goes through "3" making the y-intercept. The equation would be y=-3x+3, but you answer only give you y= -x+3

Slope-intercept form is y = mx + b

When we count rise over run, we get 1/1, or just 1. Also, the line is rising from left to right, so it is a positive slope.

y = x + b (you don't have to put 1x)

The line intersects the y-axis at 3

y = x + 3
