please help a friend :) thank you......and please do not look this up :/....Why is serving on a jury important? How does it benefit the community? please answer quickly. :)

Answer: Juries determine if an accused person is actually guilty for a crime which protects the general welfare of the community and other fellow citizens. Additionally, jury duty allows people to learn more about the justice system and may even cause some to gain a better appreciation or understanding of this system.
