Answer: Average velocity = u+v/2

Explanation: The definition of velocity is displacement over time taken. That is,

Velocity = displacement/ time taken

But we have initial velocity U and final velocity V. When we are talking about average, we are talking about the mean value of the given parameters.

Therefore, average velocity will be addition of initial velocity and final velocity divided by 2. That is,
