How might the right of Europeans to claim lands occupied by Africans have been viewed by the people of those lands

Answer:

The Africans occupying the lands would view Europeans as invaders, simply because Europeans are invading their land.

A few of them would see Europeans with distruts, but would welcome them anyway, because alliances ended up being formed between the Europeans and a few Africans, especially those who coordinated the slave trade in Africa itself.
