chocolate is toxic to dogs because of the levels of caffeine and a certain chemical, called theobromine, which is not good in large quantities to dogs. dogs can have small quantities of chocolate, but it should not be a
reoccurring “treat” or snack for dogs. however, if given accidentally, chocolate should not harm a dog, but they may get sick. too much chocolate - which is different for every dog - can be fatal.

Answer:

It is toxic for dogs

Step-by-step explanation:

Chocolate is toxic for dogs because it contains a chemical called theobromine, as well as caffeine. Theobromine is the predominant toxin in chocolate and is very similar to caffeine. These chemicals are used medically has muscle relaxant or heart stimulants. Dogs cannot metabolize theobromine and caffeine as well as people can. This makes them more sensitive to the chemicals’ effects.
