Cellulose is a macro molecule with high storage of energy lodged in its molecules.Therefore, this high energy content is a good advantage for Biofuel.

However, the mass e of the hydrogen bonds holding it molecules makes it difficult to undergo hydrolysis to glucose. This is a disadvantage which may affect the production of biofuel from cellulose.
