How do Douglas and Lincoln differ in their views of the constitution?

Answer: Douglas will willing to allow slavery in new states and territories if the people there wanted it, even though the Supreme Court had already ruled against it. Lincoln was opposed to the expansion of slavery. Lincoln was not forced to end slavery.
