I'm not sure what you need...but here are two possible answers...

4u + 8w = -3u + 2w

4u + 8w -8w = -3u + 2w -8w

4u +3u = -3u +3u +2w -8w

7u = -6w

u = -6w/7

OR

w = 7u/-6
