Answer:

the slope is 2

Explanation:

first i will say u should write this in slope intercept form and it is really easy, u just have to isolate Y

first subtract 4x on both sides

4x-4x-2y=5-4x

-2y=5-4x

now divide both sides by -1

-2y/-2=5-4x/-2

y=5/-2-4x/-2 or y=5/-2+2x

this equation will look like in slope intercept form

y=2x-5/2

so, slope intercept from is y=mx+b

and M is slope and two is in the M place

slope:2

Answer:

2

Explanation:

Note the slope-intercept form: y = mx + b

y & x = (x , y)

m = slope

b = y-intercept

First, isolate the y. Note the equal sign, what you do to one side, you do to the other. Do the opposite of PEMDAS.

First, subtract 4x from both sides:

4x (-4x) - 2y = 5 (-4x)

-2y = 5 - 4x

Next, divide -2 from both sides:

(-2y)/-2 = (5 - 4x)/-2

y = (5)/-2 + (-4x)/-2

Simplify:

y = 2x - 5/2

y = 2x - 2.5

Your slope of the line is 2.
