Why are zebras and donkeys considered different species

there are two reasons: first , the offspring produced by interbreeding are usually sterile.But second, horse, donkeys, and zebras don't, in the wild l, typically interpreted with one another.Rather, they breed among themselves, maintain consistent, different appearances in the nature.
