A concluding sentence in a paragraph

A.
introduces the limited topic and controlling idea of a new paragraph.

C.
comes when the writer has nothing more to say about the topic.
D.
can be the topic sentence as well.

Do not end a paragraph with a detail but with a sentence that sums up what the paragraph says. Look for a choice that does this.

The answer that I would go for is D. You can restate the topic sentence to make it clear again if you support the topic or are against it

C. A concluding sentence in other words is when you are wrapping up the paragraph and creating a conclusion to everything you’ve said.
