What is Slavery?

Answer: Slavery, state in which one human being was owned by another. Slaves were treated as property, by the law, and were denied most of the privileges that free people enjoyed.

Where did most slaves work?​

Answer: Field hands made up of enslaved Africans laboring in plantation agriculture. They did, however, labor in other capacities on the plantations.
