Madison has a fish tank that is 12.8 inches wide, 36 inches long and 24`\frac{1}{2}`inches deep. The manager at the fish shop suggested that she fill the tank half way up with water because the fish will still have plenty of room to swim and they will not jump out. If Madison follows the manager's suggestion, how much water will it take to fill the tank half way up? Please hurry

Answer:

Explanation:

First Multiply 12.8, 36, and 24 1/2 or 12.8 x 36 x 24.5 which equals 11289.6, and divide it by 2 which gives you 5644.8 inches of water.
