A prominent business leader once said: I have no time for forecasting models based on fancy formulas and tons of data. I just tell my guys what I want from them this year and they go achieve it.

Would you like to work for this kind of boss? Is this approach practical?

Answer:

I might surely not want to work with this sort of supervisor who works this way. I would like to work with a manager who comprehends his subordinates, gives due regard and help them in developing instead of simply requesting. To the extent this methodology is concern, it's particularly pragmatic in this day and age. In the present time, there are pioneers who don't do anything considerable all alone and simply request their workers to accomplish certain assignments at any expense.
