The number of ways to choose 6 people out of 12 is:
C(12,6) =
12! / (6! * (12-6)!) =
12! / (6! * 6!) =
12*11*10*9*8*7 / 6! =
12*11*10*9*8*7/6/5/4/3/2/1=
924
