5. What are the barrier methods that a woman can use? What should always be

used in combination with the diaphragm and cervical cap? Do all these types
of barrier methods prevent sexually transmitted infections, or STDs?

Barrier methods: female condom, Diaphragm and spermicide, cervical cap and spermicide, and contraceptive sponge

Use in combination with spermicide

They all do not prevent STI. I believe the only one the can prevent STI is the female condom.
