But we don't need to divide the b x h by half because there is another triangle so

A = bh

A = 6 x 4

A = 24

Then the base square is A = bh

A = 6 x 12 = 72

Then the square is A = bh

A = 5 x 12

A = 60 and since there is another square on the other side we add another 60

60 + 60 + 72 + 24 = 216
