In a response about my book, when I have to AVOID Plot Summary, can I still use things that happened in the story, and write about it in my response. As I DON'T want to use plot summary so how?​

Answer:

You may need to provide a little amount of supplemental material to make your analysis more coherent. As a general rule, only mention the facts that are relevant to your argument. Keep the overview to a minimum and leave space for your own opinions.
