Why does a metal lawn

chair get hot in the sun
when the grass sitting in the
same sunlight remains cool,
to the touch?
1. Heat travels easily
through plants but
not metals.
2. Heat travels easily
through both plants
and metals.
3. Heat travels easily
through metal objects
but not through
plants.

Number 1 Is the right answer.. Plants are made to live from the sun so the heat travels easily, But for the metal the sun hits directly at it and starts to heat it up.

Answer:

heat travels easier through plants so plants dont heat up as much

thus is because metal is much more dense than the grass
