Kevin is planning a trip. His round-trip train ticket

costs 550 and the hotel costs $200 per night. If
he spends $850 on his train ticket and hotel, how
many nights did he stay?

Answer 1

850- 550=300
300/200= 1.5
So he stayed for 1.5 nights??? However I don’t think you can stay for 1.5 nights so I don’t know if this is right. But it could be the right answer as I don’t see another possible solution. Sorry. You might need another persons opinion.
