Just worked it out on a piece of paper, I got -3/4

Explanation:

3x + 7(x + 1) = 2(6x + 5) − 2x

Distribute

3x +7x +7 = 12x +10 -2x

10x +7 = 10x +10

Subtract 10x from each side

10x-10x+7 = 10x-10x+10

7= 10

This is never true so there is no solution
