Explain why we follow the rule that says “what you do to one side you must do the other” when solving equations. In your explanation use the phrase “property of equations”

Answer:

We follow the rule property of equations so that when you solve an equation, the two sides of the equal sign will always be equal. If the two sides are unequal, then your answer will be wrong. So, in order to get a correct answer, we use the property of equations and when we do something on one side of the equal sign,then we do it on the other side.
