If the zookeeper had 100 pairs of animals in her zoo and if two pairs of babies are born for each and every one of the original animals, and then sadly 23 animals don’t survive, how many animals do you have left in total?

Answer:

287

Explanation:

Since 2 pairs of babies are born from each and every one of the animals, that means there are 200 babies. You add 100 to 200 and get 300 and then subtract 23, which gives 287 animals left.

Answer:

177 animals

Explanation:

So, you have 100 animals, multiply by 2 because you have 2 animals born PER original animal.

You then have 200 animals, but 23 don't survive. therefore you subtract the 23 from 200.

you will have 177 animals
