4. Why did the people of Germany allow Adolf Hitler take power, abridge their rights, and eventually abolish elections? Specifically, what CONDITIONS in Germany made the German people more amenable to an illiberal leader like Hitler?

Answer:

The stock market wasn't doing good, there were deadly diseases going around, the people were vulnerable for something to believe in or hope for and Hitler was very persuasive. They were easily moved by his manipulative words and though that what he was doing was the right way to go about things.
