8x-2, or
(1)/(4) if you meant it with a zero at the end

Explanation:

When a factor is outside the parentheses, multiply what is inside it by the factor in front!


2(4x-1)=2*4x+2*-1=8x-2

Or if you meant it with a 0 at the end,


8x-2=0\\8x=2\\x=(2)/(8)\\ x=(1)/(4)
