What are the primary distinguishing characteristics between Prokaryotic cells and Eukaryotic

cells? Why is this difference important to note?

Prokaryotic cells do not have a nucleus while eukaryotic cells do. This is because prokaryotic cells are unicellular organisms while eukaryotic cells aren’t.
