Answer: The cells are Identical with the parent

Explanation: During meiosis when cell division occur through the process of cytokinesis at the telophase ( the division of the cytoplasm into two) the daughter cells contain equal number of chromosome with the parent.

They have the same Identity with the parent each cell containing 46 chromosome as the parents.

Reduction in chromosome number occurs in gametic cells as the body chromosome number is reduced to half 23 chromosome
