What is 5x-2.5+6x-3 equivalent to

11x-5.5

Explanation:

If you combine like terms it will be equivalent still.

5x and 6x can be added together which is 11x

you can also combine -2.5 and -3 which is -5.5

So the product will be 11x-5.5
