Jorge and Maria are going to have a baby. They ask their doctor if the baby will be more likely to look and act like Maria or Jorge. They also want to know if Maria’s health history of being a diabetic will be passed on to their infant. How can the doctor most accurate address their concerns by explaining the role of genetics in fetal development?

Answer:

They should see which parent has dominant genes

Step-by-step explanation:

whoever has dominant genes will mostly takeover.

For example, when people make slime, they sometimes add colors. darker colors will usually take over the slime if added. So, dominant genes are the darker colors pretty much.

Depends on what type of diabetes coming from someone who has a mom with diabetes and got it while she was pregnant with me I have the possibility of getting it but it’s also possible I won’t get it. You can do testing when the baby is born every year to determine if they have the antibodies so that you can catch it early if the baby gets it. As long as you monitor it during pregnancy and take the right precautions the baby should be just fine.
