Explanation:

Lets split the problem then add/subtract at the end

3 x 6 = 18

Due to Order of operations we do 2^3 first then multipy by 4

so 2^3 = 8 Then we do 8 x 4 = 32

Now we add/subtract

18 + 32 - 5 = 45

45 is the answer
