Explanation: FREEDMEN'S BUREAU was founded in the year 1865, to assist the freed slaves and poor whites to meet with their basic needs,such as Food,Shelter, clothing, Education. They laid the foundation for southern education, Freedman's Bureau also tried to settle the freed slaves and poor whites on lands which have been abandoned after the war. Due to insufficient funds and political issues regarding races and reconstruction Freedman's Bureau was unable to achieve its plan and it was halted.
