Explanation:

I'm not really sure though. But since there are 3 apple pies if you take one slice from one of the pies and add it to another pie it will make one whole pie and then after there is one whole pie you do the same to another pie and their is 2 whole pies and their is one slice remaining and there is 4 whole slices in a whole pie so there fore I'm guessing that the answer is 2 1/4

There are 3 pies, the total amount of slices before they were eaten is 12. If you add the slices left..3+3+3 that would be 9
