Perseus "Percy" Jackson is the main protagonist in the novel series Percy Jackson & the Gods of Olympia and its sequel, The Heroes of Olympus. Because the format of the novel uses a first-person perspective, Percy is also the narrator of the story. Percy is the son of the sea god, Poseidon, and a mortal man who can see through the "Fog", Sally Jackson. Due to a prediction that the children of the "Three Great Gods" (which included Poseidon) would play an important role for Olympus, Percy was involved in various dangerous adventures, accompanied by his friends.
