I wouldn’t choose any of these my self but, D would seem like the strongest way to go, you shouldn’t use A/B in the introductory sentence, it seems better if it was in a body paragraph, you shouldn’t use C because you don’t wanna ask a question in your essay, so D would be the best way to go ☺️, Hope that helps
