The value of f( -2) is 24

Solution:

Given function is:

f(x) = x^2-5x + 10

We have to evaluate the given function for f( - 2)

We can obtain the value of f( -2) , by substituting x equal to -2 in given function

Plug in x = -2 in given function

f(-2) = (-2)^2 - 5(-2) + 10

Solve and simplify the above expression

f(-2) = 4+ 10 + 10\\\\f(-2) = 24

Thus value of f( -2) is 24
