EXPLANATION:

To solve this we need to use order of operations, also known as pemdas

Parentheses
Exponents
Multiplication
Division
Addition
Subtraction

You do that in order.

So first solve what in the parentheses,

8 divided by 2 is 4

So now we have

24 - 4 + 6

I know addition is written first in PEMDAS but you’re supposed do go left to right when that’s all you have left.

So

24 - 4 = 20

And

20 + 6 = 26
