Explanation:

Given:

  • Segment 1= 0.75 cm
  • Segment 2= 2.278 cm
  • Segment 3= 6.11 cm
  • Segment 4= 6.72 cm

Find the following:

i) Sum of all segments

  • 0.75 + 2.278 + 6.11 + 6.72 = 15.858 cm

ii) Sum of first two segments

  • 0.75 + 2.278 = 3.028 cm

iii) Sum of last two segments

  • 6.11 + 6.72 = 12.83 cm

iv) How much longer is the sum of 3rd and 4th Segment than Sum of 1st and 2nd Segment?

  • 12.83 - 3.028 = 9.802 cm
