First I multiplied x and 8 by 3 because I’m using pemdas. Then I subtract 24-10 and get 14. Then I’m left with 3x+14=2. The object is to get x by itself so then you have to subtract 14 from 2 and then you get 3x=-12. Then all you have to do is divide -12 by 3 which is -4. X=-4
