First of all, A and B definitely can't be the answer since offsprings inherit some traits from both their parents, so their traits can't be different nor opposite compared to their parents.

Now the reason why I believe choice C is incorrect is because if your traits are the exact same as your parents', you would basically be a clone of them. However, that's not how it works.

An offspring is produced from two parents and their DNA is combined to create an offspring that has SIMILAR traits but not IDENTICAL.
