photosynthesis provides energy as in this process the plant leaves contains chlorophyll that captures sunlight and then the plants use it to product food that results as the product of enegy and oxygen

Chlorophyll. Inside the plant cell are small organelles called chloroplasts, which store the energy of sunlight.
